I am buying a Sony 36″ Wega TV for $100. Is it worth it?
The Model is KV-36FV15 and it’s flat screen tube. I have always seen that Sony makes top of the line tube televisions. However, when I searched I have found that Wega’s have a lot of problems but that’s off reviews. I kind of feel that the only people that leave reviews are people with bad reviews. For instance, I have a good tv at home so I don’t go online and look for reviews but if I have a problem that’s the first thing I do. The tv is used but in great condition. I have seen the same tv online selling used for $300-$400, so it looks like I am getting a deal. Is Sony Wega good or bad? Thanks for your time.
Well, HD isn’t important to me since I won’t pay the extra money for the service. I am just looking for a great picture on a standard television

I own one of these and I can vouch for it, it is a great machine and has always performed excellent. It is extremely reliable.
Battery life is decent but not great, mine lasts for a little over two hours. I keep it plugged in most of the time anyway, so I couldn’t care less, but you might.
Also, the 1 GB of Memory is the minimum required for Windows VISTA, not the optimum. You should be fine for everyday routine, but if you often use several applications at the same time (like I do), you might want to consider upgrading to 2 GB or even 4 GB sometime in the near future.
This is my second VAIO laptop and I have loved both of them, but they do have a tendency to be a bit overpriced. I wouldn’t pay more then $700 – $800 for this model. Look for sales and rebates, they are fairly frequent.

Look on ebay for a package deal where a vendor sells 1 or 2 batteries + an external charger for a low price. Often it is just a couple of bucks more than the battery itself and most of them ship for free.
