How Do I Totally Disassemble My Sony Ericsson W580i ?

I have a Sony Ericsson W580i with an Urban Grey fascia on it. As this fascia is very scratched and dented, I would like to replace it with a different colour. I have already purchased a new fascia for the W580i, but can not seem to completely disassemble the phone to fit it.

I dropped my Mobile down the Toilet about 1 month ago it was working Perfect still after as i got it out in about 2 seconds, I had minor Problems with it like the screen went all Fuzzy But only when i slided the phone down to lock it, so i left it on the Heater for a couple Days just in case there was any water Left in the phone i did no Know about, After i turned my phone bk on it worked To perfection again, But the only Problem is when i slide the phone to Lock it Still only Half the screen goes fuzzy, but when its slid up it works Fantastic still, No problems at all, would anyone Know what the problem is because i am slightly Confused, This is an Expensive Mobile Telephone too, As its a Sony Ericsson C905 Reaching the Value to over £400 So i would not like to lose this phone. i would be Grate-full for any ones Input on what they think i should do and if they have any Idea on what the Problem is.

Usually when a phones screen has gone black it has something to do with the flex cable that connects to the screen. If you replace this cable it usually will fix the problem.

If you are still able to make calls with the black screen then it’s just the screen not the whole phone if you cant make calls or at least receive calls then it’s probably the phone and it’s just better to get another.

The flex cable can usually be bought online or fixed a repair store they are not very expensive parts usually less then $10.
