Should I buy an Xbox 360?
Okay, I really want to know what you guys think and I don’t want any fanboy crap. But I’ve always been for the Sony Playstation 3 mainly because it has FREE Online play and Blu-Ray. But I came across an add for an used Xbox 360 Elite 120GB for $250, I know XBOX Live is good so that’s what I would be looking forward to but I hate paying for it. What do you guys think?
PS I’m only a 15 and I would be paying it with my own money and I don’t have a job but I have been selling some of my PS3 games that I don’t play anymore and making a lot of money off of it.

It’s not worth it. yes, the 360 has a great online service and a very good library of games, but with all it’s hardware failure issues, you’ll end up sending it in for repairs, wishing you bought a playstation 3 or nintendo wii instead. take my word for it. i’ve had mine since last december and had nothing but problems with it. i’ve sent it in for repairs, and they gave me another 360, which ended up freezing with any game i put in it. don’t get an xbox 360!!!

Sony Ericsson Idou Cell Phone Review
This much awaited phone has been the talk of the town since it was announced in Feb 2009. At the time of the announcement Sony had predicted the launch of this phone in the 2nd half of 2009; however, rumors suggest that it may be on sale in Oct or Nov 2009. During a recent visit to a press conference we got an opportunity to get a feel of this phone. IDOU is just a prototype name for this model which is still unnamed. ‘Idou’ in Japanese means ‘a change’ and looks like this phone is going to change the way we look at phones.
This impressive smartphone is equipped with a 12.1 megapixel camera, which is greatly enhanced with functions like autofocus, xenon flash, image stabilizer and Smile Shutter technology (it only captures an image when a person is smiling, how cool is that!), geo-tagging and face detection. It also has all the advanced features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, microSD memory slot, USB 2.0 connectivity, touchscreen, HSDPA and an accelerometer, this means that the phone detects the angle in which it’s being held and can change the screen to portrait or landscape view. Sony Ericsson IDOU has a 3.5 inch display screen that completely covers the front. The touchscreen is very responsive and easy to use. The touch screen provides quick access to functions like the camera and phonebook within a single touch; in addition, there are touch music player controls on the display. You can also access the main menu; the video player, messages, and the search option, there are dedicated keys for each of these at the bottom of the display.
On the right side of the phone are the volume rocker, media player controls and a camera shutter. The left has a headset jack/charger port. It’s disappointing that the phone has only one jack and Sony doesn’t provide another jack for the headphone. On the top of the display there is a secondary camera which has been designed for video calls. It is well placed and aided with a light sensor with detects ambience lighting; this makes the camera automatically adjust the brightness of the display depending on its surroundings.
As the IDOU is still in its early stages we are unable to completely test and review the software functions. If the software improves in stability, the Sony Ericsson IDOU is definitely one of the best phone on the market. At the moment Sony is enjoying the anticipation in the market and is heightening it by keeping mum. It hopes to be able to reveal all soon including the official name of the IDOU phone.

Do you own the official Sony Ps3 Bluetooth Headset , what exactly is it ?
Obviously it fit’s over the ear so the user can hear conversations but in the descriptions i’ve read it must be docked in the charger to be used as a microphone ?
Surely you don’t have to dock it to ask a question and then put it behind your ear to hear the answer ?
Would i be better off buying my son a sony headset with a mouth and ear piece ?

You only need to dock it to charge it. To talk you just wear it.
In my experience the Sony headset works better than standard bluetooth headsets, it has a noise cancelling microphone built in that reduces background noise (like the music and sound effects from games) being transmitted.
It also integrates with XMB better (having pop ups that tell you when you mute etc.)
Unfortunately isn’t the most comfortable headset, and I find myself frequently swapping ears during online play.
The problem with a full headset is that it will muffle the sound effects from the game, so that you will miss directional sounds (like footsteps behind you) which in some games like COD4 can prove very detrimental to your online gaming.

Playstation 3 60GB or 80GB(CECHE01)?
Well I’m stuck in descion between 60GB model and 80GB(CECHE01#) model . Because I heard 80GB has a lot of issues on PS2 games like graphics and what not I dunno. I’m just worried that it’ll effect my Playstation 2 games along with my PS ones as well. But I heard the company aka Sony will update the software order to fix the bugs and all that. But I heard 60GB has Emotion Engine(a chip that PS3 consule use to play old PS games and it worked perfectly fine!) So I’d figured all PS2 games will work fine. So I’m stuck choosing between both of them.
I’m thinking of getting 60GB one. But 80GB will update and maybe the games will update/bugs issues fixed.
But just let you know I deeply care about PS/PS2 backward games to work perfect fine with no bug issues or whosoever.

the 60GB is the best. it can play pretty much ALL PS2 games, where as the 80GB can’t. it will play them, but not as many as the 60GB.
all PS3’s can play PS1 games.
there is no update that will make the original 80GB play more PS2 games, just as there is no update to make the 40GB, new 80GB, and the new 160GB play PS2 games.
